ati aiw 9700 pro
neither sagerecorder nor sagetv work with my ati aiw 9700 pro video card--the splash screen appears, and then hangs with the message "locating direct show filters..." appearing along the bottom of the screen. is this card incompatible, or is there a fix, or do i have a problem? can't wait to try the program.

If you are trying to use the AIW 9700 as your tuner card then it is not supported by SageTV. SageTV only supports the use of MPEG-2 hardware encoding cards like the WinTV-PVR-250. Take a look at our system requirements page and compare to your system (http://www.sage.tv/requirements.html). Then let us know a little more about what you are running so we can help.

dan: thanks for responding so quickly. read about the program in the chicago trib or sun times and thought i'd give it a try. i only have the ati card, so i guess i'll have to wait to use the program until/if you support this card.
