When running as service why does starting Sage UI say SageTV Service is initializing?
Title says it all.
I'm just trying to gather an understanding of Sage technology. Thanks. |

That's a good question, but on my system the Sage UI hangs at this point and will never completely load. I'd love to know the meaning of this as well.

Just a wild guess, but I think it's checking configuration settings. I was playing around with not using Sage Service for a while (due to CPU usage issues caused by Zonealarm), and as I recall, some setting within Sage changed when I restarted Service. For example, the setting to send Sage to the icon tray on exit, and load at startup changed, if I recall correctly.
