DVD Drive Not Working After Upgrade to v6

Not sure if it is coincidence or not but after I upgraded to v6 my DVD Drive no longer works. In Device Manager this is what it is telling me... Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)... I have looked for new drivers etc but no luck. I even grabbed another external DVD player to rip some stuff today and I get the same error with it. Any ideas are appreciated.

Yep, and the 2nd DVD drive I tried is an external USB model too. Can't figure this one out.

I've seen this happen a few times before (not with Sage, however) and what I've done in the past to fix it is to go into Device Manager and "remove" the device giving you trouble - and then reboot the computer. This will allow Windows to 're-detect' your (new - it thinks) drive and reset it's drivers accordingly.

Hope this helps,

Tried that with no luck.. even did it in safe mode. I have posted something on the ASUS forums to see if they have any ideas. Thank you for the input though.
