No data in Guide
okay. I now have the IR changing my directv channels through Sage! Now the bad news, I still have no EPG data (Seattle DIrectv) in the guide and the guide channels are not synched to what I am viewing. I checked the details for SYstem setup and it shows a recent EPG update. I have forced update 2x with no data still. Very frustrating.

This has been fixed in 1.2.4 Beta (releasing today).
To workaround it for now, quit SageTV. Then open the Sage.properties file in the SageTV folder using notepad. Delete any lines that have server_update_id in them. Save the file, quit notepad, and startup SageTV. Then force an EPG update. It'll fill in your whole guide.

Didn't work. Grrrr...Maybe I am missing something. On my reinstall I let Sage find the Actisys and it did. Trained the IR and when through the rest of the setup and it seems that (a) Sage sees the right capture card becuase I get a pciture and sound, (b) when starting Sage it seems to find the IR, and (c) I can change channels using my sat remote within the Sage program. I know I have internet access working. Sage doesn't seem to populate the EPG date and when I change stations through the remote Sage does not change channels. Using the up/down keys on the keyboard I can change the station on the OSD for Sage but of course the station dose not change.
Using WIn XP Hauppauge 350 Samsung Sirs70 DTV Receiver w/standard remote Actisys IR 200L Did I not install this right? Any and all help greatly appreciated. |

Did you go thru Setup Wizard and re-config your Tuner/Capture card? It sure sounds like that's the problem... |

1.2.4 beta is out now on the FTP server, I'd suggest trying that. Thanks.

I tried a total reinstall and that didn't work. I tried the fix posted and that didn't work. I assume that when Sage Tv starts that if I get view a channel through the Sage app then the software is seeing the card properly. Is that not true? Under Setup Detail I see the setting are set to default and the decoder can be set to the one for the Hauppauge 350 which I have and which I assume is the default. I have a MYHD card too but that doesn't show up as a decoder option (as I beleive it won't and should not).

Delete the Sage.properties, Wiz.bin and Wiz.bak files in your SageTV folder. Then startup SageTV and go through the Setup Wizard. All should be OK then. You will not need to reprogram the Actisys codes.
