Great. The price jump just saved me $139 plus shipping. I don't need anymore drive space. I just have to turn off Sage IR option. 1350GB should be e-nuff space for any one man

Me too, though it might have cost me $169 plus shipping. Haven't decided yet.

It's not. I'm up to....
(2-1)*500 = 500GB on my NAS
((8-1)*250 + 300 + 250 + 160 ) = 2460GB on my server
74GB on my desktop
40GB on my HTPC.

That's 3074GB total if I count right. If you limit that to just the stuff I use for "file serving", then cross out the desktop and HTPC and I've got 2960GB in my Server/NAS.

550GB for SageTV to record to (runs in a general full state, as it should)
1750GB in RAID-5 on my server for DVDs (full)
160GB in my server for misc stuff (apps, drivers, downloads, etc, full)
500GB in X-RAID on my ReadyNAS (music, videos, digital photos, also full)

And then I've got about 10 DVDs sitting next to my desktop waiting to get ripped. And more on pre-order that will need a home when they show up.

You can never have too much space....

Too bad it costs money, and too bad I've got my eye on a second row of chairs for my Theater, and also on this bad boy:

Thank God I only buy HD-DVD's and there is no way to rip then right now. Just Imagine the space it will take to do that

The RS1? MSRP is a bit over $6k, but it's not out yet. I'm not really sure what I hope street is going to be if it's in the $4k range I'm going to have to seriously consider it (an putting off the seats). I've heard rumblings that street for the RS1 is close to street for the 1080p Panasonic (which is in the $4k range).

Well, for a moment, I almost lost my faith in procrastination (when I missed it the first time).

But once again, procrastination pays off, I've got one coming now.

Now it's just time to decide if I order a second....

Stranger, that projector is too much for me. I'm happy with my new panny ax100.

regarding disk space, i may need to jump on one of these deals soon. I was doing great until I added my hd homerun this weekend. I see my space is being eaten up way too quickly now. 750 gig is nowhere near enough space!

I'll probably never be happy , but I'd be much happier with the RS1 than my IN76. It would be awesome if black was black

I'm basically stuck w/ external storage now. Nowhere else to add drives on this box Maybe by the time all the HD stuff is vested in the market I can afford to redo things proper when I make the step up.

I found a 400 gig external drive at Sams for $159.

Not as great of a deal as 500 gig for 139, but still a great deal.
I'm getting one today.

No idea how that compares to the one you found, but Staples has a 500GB for $149 (after rebate though)
