List of "currently airing" categories?
Does SageTV have the capability to easily and quikcly display "categories" of shows that are currently airing?
For example, the MOXI DVR has several easily accessible menu items such as "Movies", "Sports", "News", etc. that display all of the shows in that category that are currently airing. Select the "Movies" item, and it displays all currently airing movies. Select "Sports, and all currently airing sports-related shows display. etc. While I'd guess that most SageTV users wach predominately recorded shows, I'd bet that ther are a significant number who watch live TV to find somethign like this useful. I did try to tweak some of the customized menus in menu plugin, including the "Upcoming Movies" menu, but it seems to only display upcoming movies that are not currently airing. I'm looking to be able to easily view categories of shows that are currently airing. Suggestions? (...other than "stop watching live TV!")

Something like Schedule Recordings -> Search -> Browse By Category? (See p. 66 for the v6 manual -- there's a usage tip at the bottom of the page too.)
Edit: Oh, but those are future airings, not what is playing right now. You could use Studio to modify what it displays, though, via the filtering done in the BeforeMenuLoad hook. - Andy
