h.264 conversion problems -- what gives?
Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me with this because I've been pulling my hair out. ![]() !> dropping GOP# 826 @ orig.PTS 00:06:34.894 (35540487) -> Pics exp/cnt 12/12, inGOP PTS diff. 66ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 827 @ orig.PTS 00:06:35.394 (35585532) -> Pics exp/cnt 12/12, inGOP PTS diff. 66ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 828 @ orig.PTS 00:06:35.895 (35630577) -> Pics exp/cnt 12/12, inGOP PTS diff. 83ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 829 @ orig.PTS 00:06:36.395 (35675622) -> Pics exp/cnt 11/11, inGOP PTS diff. 66ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 830 @ orig.PTS 00:06:36.862 (35717664) -> Pics exp/cnt 11/11, inGOP PTS diff. 66ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 831 @ orig.PTS 00:06:37.296 (35756703) -> Pics exp/cnt 12/12, inGOP PTS diff. 100ms, new Timecode 00:00:01.601 !> dropping GOP# 832 @ orig.PTS 00:06:37.813 (35803250) I do not know how to fix these and I know this is what is causing my truncated conversion. Any ideas? I'm using x264 CE High Profile with MP4 container. Everything else is pretty much the defaults. I've tried other profiles with similar results. |

Try using avi container.

Well, I don't really know Staxrip, I use MEncoder to make h.264s, never had any problems with it.
