Exclamation Sound stops (comskip problem??)

I have a little annoyance happen probably once or twice a week. While watching a recorded show the sound would just stop while video continues normally. If I stop playback and then restart playback again, the sound returns to normal again. So far I've seen this happen right after a commercial gets skipped, so I started suspecting comskip, but then there was one show that had no commercials in it and the sound still stopped (I was able to get it back via stopping/restarting playback). Any idea?
Thanks!
-Alex.

Am I the only one having this problem?
It happened again in a show right after commercial got skipped. I rewound several times to see if it's consistent and it happened every time except once.
Any ideas?

I'm actually using Intervideo for both audio and video...
How about audio renderer? I have it currently set to 'default'.
