SageTV KickOff Program When Recording Starts

Anyone knows if there is a way to tell SageTV software to start (kickoff) a program when a recording begins?

I would like to have SA (ShowAnalyzer) start the moment a recording begins.

I don't want to use DirMon2 because it has to make up all of my 6 drives each time it checks for new recordings - a lot of wasted electricity and hardware.

My drives are set to go to sleep after 10 minutes of non-use and DirMon2 keeps them from sleeping. If I set DirMon2 check time too long, then new recordings dont get SA on them.

EDIT: How about any Pre-Poccessing or Post-Processing calls in SageTV? I beleive GVBPVR has post-processing ability of recorded shows.
