AVerTVHD MCE A180 and Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 (AVerTV too bright)

Hi!

I have been running SageTV (v5 and now v6) with a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 dual Analog tuner for a while now and everything's been working great.

I just bought a AVerTVHD MCE A180 to add over-the-air HD recording.

The AVerTVHD software (AVer's TV software) works great and gives a beautiful picture. I had no problems adding and configuring the card in SageTV but when I watch digital content in Sage the video is very bright. If I play with my TV settings to cut the brightness, the Hauppauge (analog) recordings will be too dark. And like I said, if I watch live TV with AVer's software the brightness/contrast is perfect, but it's noticeably brighter when I watch in Sage. Any ideas?

Also, when I was setting up the channels in Sage, I originally got a signal strength bar to appear. Now I don't get that bar any more and would like to know how moving my antenna around changes the signal strength. Is there any way (internal to Sage or External) to view the AverTVHD signal strength?

Thanks!

Jeff
