Google Desktop Slowing SageTV?

Google Desktop Slowing SageTV?

I have been running Google Desktop for some time but recently it seems to slow down Sagetv. GDT thinks my computer is idling when I am watching and starts slowing playback. If I use my zremote to toggle alt-tab during playback all is well.... anyone else having this issue? Any ideas how to fix short of not using GDT?
