v1.4.1.1 beta build

Hi K.

Sorry for the delay. Things have been busy around here. Put the .dll and .exe files in the same directory. Executed. Similar .NET Framework error dialog as before with the exact WaitOne threading error at the end.

This time, however, it had a continue button and did seem to load the program. It didn't do anything except "loading" but does allow the config dialog to load. Progress? Dunno.

Let me know what other info is relevant. Looks like lots of debugging info in "Details" button if that is of use. Happy to do w/e I can to help.

Thanks!

Yes, that info could be useful. Could you please send it to me via email? There must be another API that isn't backwards compatible...

Thanks,

Hooray! Joy in mudville again!

Looks like it works perfectly here now, so thanks again for the time and effort! Was it another backwards incompatibility as you thought?

FYI, the date on the release is from 2007 too, if that matters to you.

Thanks K!

Glad it is working for you I will post an updated release for everyone. Yeah, I think there was just the one more API call that wasn't backwards compatible.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

So, does it happen just once after waking from sleep, or does it keep happening? If so, does it recover, or do you have to restart the app to get rid of it? Also, what are your polling rates set to? Also, did you see this problem with 4.1.0, or is it just the latest version that does this?

It only happens once each time the computer wakes up, or let me phase that this way, I see the error box when the computer wakes up. Could be happening as the comptuer is going to sleep for all I know. It doesn't happen any other time.

I am able to click continue on the unhandled exception box and it works fine.

I have actually had this problem with each version, but it seems to happen more frequently since the upgrade to 4.1 (i'm now using the latest version).

I'll have to check my polling rates when I get home if you still need them.
