I press a button and I get a light on the remote and a light on the receiver but none of the buttons work with either sage or windows. I've looked around a bit and it seems I may have to use a program called girder?
Could someone please explain to me how to get this remote working with sage.
Thanks in Advance

Make sure you're using Windows XP Service Pack 2 and make sure the receiver shows up in Device Manager as eHome receiver or something like that. Then reboot and make sure MCE remote is chosen in Sage. It should just work.

Hi

Have a read of this thread :

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17261

specifically, the 2nd post with the link the drivers on microsoft.com

I have the same remote and with those installed it works fine. The only downside was that the power button would shut down the PC, if you don't want this to happen then use Stephane's keymapper to map the button to something else

You could also set XP's Power Management options to "Ask Me What To Do" for the Shut Down and Sleep functions.
