HVR-1600 Tuning Wrong Channels
I hope someone can help. I am running Sage 6.1.8 on an XP MCE 3.0GHz P4 with all Hauppauge hardware including one HVR-1600, PVR-150, and a USB2 box. So the problem- the HVR-1600 tunes cable with no problems. Now, I also set up an OTA HD source using a powerful antenna. With WinTV I get all 9 local HD channels here in New Orleans with no problems at all. With Sage, however, I scan and find all 9 channels but when I try to view them, all I get is the same single channel called ION. I've had various success with uninstalling and reinstalling the source in Sage and have occassionally been able to tune in FOX or CBS, but not consistently. Again, the tuner works fine since WinTV is getting everything, but how do I get SageTV to do the same. The signal strength is excellent from 80-95% for all channels.
As a side note, two channels, CBS and I think PAX broadcast in 1080i which looks great on WinTV but doesn't work with Sage at all causing stutters and skips, etc. Any help is appreciated. JB Wallis |
