6.1.8/9 bizarre behavior.
6.1.7 runs fine for me after an uninstall/reinstall. However, if I upgrade to 6.1.9 Sage will not work at all. Let me explain:
Sage loads on startup and shows menu in a small font. (No biggie, I've seen this before and it goes away once I go into a menu and back out. However, when I go to watch TV the channel starts and then SageTV spikes to nearly 100% CPU utilization. If I hit stop then I get two SageTVs showing up on my Start Bar down where running programs display. These two SageTVs blink very fast like they are switching focus from one to the other. SageTV is not accessible and I can't right click to close either of them. If I'm patient I can get Task manager up and end SageTV but the computer won't work correctly after I do. Explorer.exe then spikes to 100%. If I kill that I can use new task to launch applications. The only option I have is to go back to 6.1.7. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm experiencing the same problem since upgrading from Sage 5 to 6.1.9 last week. SageTV runs fine for a day or two, then the interface is painfully slow. When I get task manager open SageTV is using 99-100% CPU. The only way to get the computer to be responsive again is to kill the process and then restart.

Are you by chance using a USB-UIRT as both a blaster and a reciever and using service mode? If so set service mode to login as a real user and that user needs to be the same one you use with the GUI.
