Issue with Remapping Lastest Comcast QAM Channel Changes

I use the HDHomerun for QAM tuning in SageTV with SageMC. Lately, HDHR has been able to pull the channel mappings automatically, and I've no longer needed to manually remap anything in Sage.

This month, Comcast near Seattle moved 4 channels (FOX HD, CW HD, KONG HD, and CBS HD) to new locations. it appears Silicondust's server has not updated these yet, but I can play them with VLC player: 111-2, 111-1, 110-1, and 110-2, respectively. I can also verify my signal strength on all four channels is 98-100%. For these reasons, I'm posting here and not on Silicondust's forums.

Ok, so I load-up SageTV and proceed to the channel setup. Firstly, I'm not presented with as many remapping options in Sage V6.1.9.135. as I used to have. I have only "Map to Different Channel Number". I do so for each channel, but instead of immediately showing the remapped QAM number in brackets like previous versions of Sage, the changes do not show until I exit Channel Setup and re-enter. At that point, the main channel number has been replaced with my new mapped channel number, so for example, "CBS" instead of being channel 7, is now down at "110-2". But the changes in how I remap channels is a secondary issue.

The main issue is: I can't tune any of these channels in Sage now. HDHomerun works via VLC player, but the same QAM channels and program numbers give me a black screen in Sage. I've never encountered this issue before, so I'm wondering if anyone else has, and whether it sounds like a Sage issue, or HDHomerun/software?

When you're working with SageMC you need to load the default STV to get some of the latest optoins. This is one of those cases. You're dealing with the hardware attributes of a device. There is a Hardware Setup button on the setup screen. Use that. Then reload the SageMC stv after you're done.

Thanks, that did it. Somehow, I was getting to channel setup while still in the default stv, whereas before i used to get to it in a way that forced me to load the default.
