Question about recording
Question, when I use to use WinTV I was able to hit the record button and then stop my recording for any length of time when I just wanted to record a portion of a show on the spur of the moment.
With SageTV it seems that the only way I can record is by setting up a recording manually a head or time. If I record a show while its already on it'll only record for that time slot and if I stop it before hand it'll delete it if I stop recording. Am I not seeing this feature or is it there and I'm just not using it correctly? |

if you make a show a manual (or timed) recording, and then once recording, adjust the recording options stop time to 'now', then it will stop recording and not delete it.
This function is automated in my multi-function stop plugin, or in the SageMC user interface.
