Program Guide Listings 1 hour behind
Hello,
I'm trying out SageTV and have been pretty happy with it. However, I've come across a problem with the Program Guide. The show listings are coming up 1 hour behind when they should. For example, it says that South Park should start at 11pm, but the show actually starts at 12am. Is there a way to change this in SageTV so that my listings are shown at the correct time? My computer time is setup correctly also. |

is it all listings are off 1 hour, or just certain channels?
If just certain channels, then you need to contact Sage to see if they can get the data corrected from zap2it. You can't adjust the times yourself. Quote:

It is all channels. I just checked the listings at Zap2It.com, which is where it looks like it is pulling the listings from and these are all correct. When I look at the guide in Sage though all listings are wrong.

OK, if it is all listings, and zap2it is correct, then we need to dig a litte deeper.
Are you running Vista? There were some time issues if you use Java 1.4 or 1.5, only 1.6 is Vista compatible. If not that, then maybe its is an issue with Daylight savings time. Double check everything in your timezone settings. Java, which Sage is built on, does rely on offsets from Zulu time, Greenwich Mean Time.

I think I figured it out. Apparently in the system clock settings, the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings" box was not checked. I checked that and set my time correctly and the listings are now displaying correctly it seems. Thanks for your help!
