Problem with License key on Linux
Hi
I have been working to setup the stable Sage for Linux on an installation of OpenSuSE 10.2. I installed the specified dependencies (Java 1.5.12, mad, lame, and faad2), and opened the server into the specified directory. When I run ./keygen..sh the system asks for my License key. After entering the key I hit return and the system asks for the key again. I looked at the script file but I am not sure where the problem is. Thank you Harry |

Do you have a linux key or are you trying to use your windows key? Other than that, I would email support.

Key problem
Please delete this message. I discovered that the problem was I had received a Windows key. I had intended to place an order for a Linux key. Other material I read today lead me to suspect that I had a Win Key. I ordered a "2nd" linux key. The key format and other text on the "product" page were very different from what I had received previously. I entered the key into keygen.sh and it was accepted.

the good news is you can use your windows key for a client or an additional server if desired.
