n00b question: assigning a channel to svideo in

This is probably super easy but I can't seem to figure it out.

I have a Hauppauge PVR 250 and I have standard cable plugged into the coax. I am using the built-in EPG and its working fine for the TV tuner. Now I want to be able to select the svideo in so I can watch/record from my VCR.

How can I assign the svideo in to unused channel so I can select this as a video source? Or is there a better way to do this? When I set up the secondary source I chose "I don't have an access code" because I didn't want to set up channels for the svideo in, but now its on no channels at all...
