MediaMVP + HVR 1600 IR Blaster
Hello,
I'm wanting to use my MediaMVP to control Sage, but I'm having problems finding documentation on how to get my tuner's (WinTV-HVR 1600) IR blaster to control my Motorola 2224 set-top. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm assuming I must have Sage send messages to my blaster, but do I have to purchase a 3rd application (such as Girder) to do this? Very much appricated.. messy. |

You have to use Hauppauge's IR blaster configuration program to configure it & keep the Hauppauge software running. Then, during source setup, you can choose the Hauppauge IR blaster as the tuning plugin -- see p. 150 of the v6.1 manual.
