?'s about sage to replace Meedio?

I have been using Meedio as my main front end and sage just for tv recording but am thinking of trying to work with sage as my full front end but am wondering if it has the functions I need? I use TheaterTek for my DVD viewing and would like to keep it that way as well as using dvd profiler to catalog my movies, can I use my dvd profiler data(xml) to watch my ripped dvds with movie art and descriptions? any help or pointers would be appreciated...thanks guys

Don't know about the default STV, but with SageMC you can configure an external player for your videos. It also has DVD profiler integration (but there's also an equivalent import for the default STV).

Also Sage will use the nVidia codecs from TheaterTek so for most part there really isn't a quality difference between the two. But as Dirk mentioned the SageMC STV covers both your question easily. I believe JREkiwi developed External Apps for Default STV which allows you to run an external app using the current video filename. (among other arguments.) So you're covered on all fronts.

WOW SageMC is like having a whole new app! I really like it but I have some probs. First I can't figure out for the life of me how to setup dvd profiler with sage, i setup the options in sage as to where the dvd profiler dir can be found but what is next? Second I want to setup an individual place out side of the "my videos" screen that has only my HD (mkv) movies along with poster art and desciptions, is there a way to do this? and last I can't get sageMC to work with the auto aspect ratio switcher stv import, I simply can not live with out this function. I think I may be Meedio spoiled

There is supposed to be a way to set up a secondary video import screen separate from the main video screen in SageMC, but I haven't been able to get it to work. You may want to ask flachbar about it.

Hows is it not working? Can't import it? If you rename the .stvi file to .xml, you will be able to import it. I use it SageMC6.3.3c and can't live without it.
