no inet during setup ?

hi

how can i install/setup sagetv without inet connection !

Sorry man, the client performs an initial connection during installation. I don't think there's a way to keep it from performing the initial connection. If the machine is hooked to a local network that you have a machine on that does have internet (even dialup) you migth think of doing internet connection sharing (I liked wingate for that.) Would one of the XMLTV plugins available help get around this? If the computer is never going to be connected to the internet for getting guide data then maybe you are just after the functionality thats in SageRecorder.
