Unable to access filesystem for playback

I'm getting this error intermittently on quite a number of recordings. I get the same result when I attempt to play the files from either the server or a client.

I have used UNC paths throughout, and even used IP instead of computer name to take name lookup out of the equation. Windows media player plays all the files just fine using the full UNC path. Why can't sage?? These are the same mpeg decodes I've been using for well over a year now too.

I just ran into a similar problem. Mine was a permissions error on one of my shares... when space ran out on two of the 3 drives I record to, the third one caused an access error (but it still tried to record here).

The error appeared exactly every 5 minutes until I figured out what was going on.

I checked the permissions on everything up to the drive itself (share permissions included) and set them to everyone full control. Windows firewall is disabled. No change in errors.

After more search I found the issue. I had installed a custom demux registry key to support PAFF H264 back in a previous version of Sage. Now that Sage is working right out of the box with the Cyberlink H264 decoder, I no longer need that setting. Removing the registry key fixed the file playback problems.
