How to change video thumbnail?

Anyone know how to change the video thumbnail to custom jpg|png|gif. ie, I'd like to replace the thumbnail of some movies with their cover art instead of the auto generated thumbnail.

I've seen posts where I can turn off the thumbnail the generation. I can't seem to find any references to actually replacing it with something different.

I have looked in the SageTV3.xml file and I can see where the table is being created, but i can't seem to figure out how Sage determines to draw it's thumbnail for a given media file.

Thank Andy,

I tried that initially, but the thumbnails didn't take.... After restarting the sage server, it did pick up my thumbnails... although not without some initial issues. At first sage refused to show any on my videos until i removed the .jpg. Later when I put the jpg back, it sage didn't pick it up, and finally after a full restart, it did in fact show it.

Is there are way to have sage pick up the new thumbnails in real-time without a restatrt. (I tried the refresh content).

Also, is there a way for someone to change the video title/text? ie, I wanted to show the movie name and not the filename.

This handy for the first time import, but I'm looking for something more progmatic. I'll check the SageTV api to see if I can set the title using code (java or stv).

On a separate note, but still related, I'd like to be able to change the text in the video thumbnail such that, it uses a fixed font size without scaling.... and have the label scroll right to left when the thumnail is focused for a label that is wider than the thumbnail box. This is something that xbmc does, and it's make the display (in my oppinion) much nicer. I'm learning the api and stvi, but I still can't seem to figure out where in the xml file, Sage renders the actual thumbnail and label. I've found the table, and the cell, but I'm missing something.

BTW, I did download and browse the studio guide (handy that you provide the links to it in your signature), but I'm still missing something in the connection of how sage uses the table to render the items.
