Animated shows recorded via firewire won't play on MVP?

Animated shows recorded via firewire won't play on MVP?

Okay, the more specific my problems get the closer I am to stable sage bliss!

I have firewire recording set up via my motorola time warner stb. It records quite well, but for some silly reason it will not playback animated shows on my wired MVPs. They will play for a few seconds and then "pause". The MVP is still functional, as I can stop, go to the guide, etc, as if nothing is wrong. These files play just fine on my server, my placeshifter, and client. They look fine on the MVP for about eight to eleven seconds. The files don't look any differet within Windows Explorer, just regular mpegs. Also, the MVPs play transcoded HD just fine.

All thoughts welcome!
