Ha ha. I'd probably upgrade at least one of them to an HV1800, as a secondary tuner for the open QAM stuff. I think that would allow me enough redundancy to cover all my recordings.

Just got off the phone with my friend who sells for Comcast and he's going to check on the availability of DC501s for me.

Has anyone gotten a DCP501 provisioned successfully in MA

I was wondering if anyone has bought their own box and gotten Comcast to provision it in MA. I would also like to avoid modding a rented box.

tough decision but decided to stay with comcast due to previous htpc investements with my setup plus the feed back on this thread. Thanks!

I ordered a couple dcp501's today - so will be getting them provisioned and upgraded over the next week or so.
