Control audio level output
I've got my Sage system running through a surround sound home theater system. It runs in aside my digital cable and built-in DVD unit.
If I have all three running and swap between the audio, my SageTV audio feed blasts you out of the room if either of the others is at an normal audible level. Is there a way to lower the audio feed coming out of Sage? I've looked through a variety of Windows audio controls, but none of them, so far, are affecting this. Thanks, D |

How is the PC connected to the reciever? Digital or analog.
I don't think you can adjust the volume over a digital output. I would also look at the audio cards control software, it may give you additional options.

Analog. I should have included more info in the original message. I'm using a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350. Just the plain stereo split cables.
Thanks again |

If you are using the analog speaker out connection from a sound card or motherboard then just changing the system volume should do the trick.
If it's an audio out from the 350 then you'll probably have to go through the Hauppage software to see if there's an adjustment.
