please fix full-screen (1080p) on Mac Mini for SageTV Client/Placeshifter. I've posted and submitted bugs but still no fix. It is an awful slideshow now. Thanks.

The 6.3.4 Mac builds have been posted now as well. We're looking into the issue you mention guho.

Any luck with this? I came across some other post suggesting mplayer isn't quite cutting it on Linux and Mac, recommending VideoLan instead. I second that. My current workflow when I want to watch a Sage recording in my family room, which has the Mac mini 1.83 Core2Duo hooked up via DVI to a 1080p display, with wired gigabit to the Sage server is:

- pick show I want to watch, using SageTV Client or Placeshifter UI in a window (not full-screen) on the Mac
- get into details to see what recording directory it's in
- use Mac OS finder to locate the recording file on the network drive
- Open it up in VLC, playing full-screen
- When done, go back to SageTV UI and mark show as 'Watched'.

I hope this is not considered a convenient way to use SageTV. I know you can reproduce the issue, since Sage support told me so, but I would like to know how far along you are in solving it. Many thanks for addressing this problem.
