HD Media Extender no audio w/avi

Just got the HD media extender and upgraded the firmware. Everything works great other than some of my avi files. I have some avi's that will not produce any sound in the extender, but on the server they are fine. I am using the analog audio out and the avi's are xvid files. The mp4 files work great...

Anyone else seeing this problem?

I have similar problems with avi's converted from MP4 created by Nero when played by Windows Media Player. The sound will not work until I fast forward some. I will try them tonight on the extender and will report

First question is, are they using a supported audio codec?

If they are, and heck even if they aren't, I'd submit a support request, seems like SageTV want's to make this work with as many formats as possible.

I tested my avi files which do not play correctly in WMP (must fast forward to get sound) and they play just fine in HD extender :-).
