HDMI Splitter or Optical Audio Splitter?

I have a dilemma. I got my HD Extender last night and realized that in my excitement I overlooked my available audio connections.

My HDTV only has one HDMI input as well as 1 Optical Audio jack and 1 coaxial audio jack. My receiver also only has 1 Optical Audio jack and 1 coaxial audio jack. Currently my PS3 is using my HDMI input, and I am outputting my sound from the TV to the receiver using optical. The way I see it I have a few options and I wondered which would be the best:

1. Buy an HDMI splitter and run both the PS3 and the HD100 to the HDTV and split the HDMI signal at the TV.

2. Hook up the HD100 with component cables and then find an optical audio splitter and run both the TV and the HD100 to the splitter and feed that into my receiver.

3. Use the HDMI from the PS3 to the TV, the HD100 with component video and optical audio to the TV and then run coaxial audio out from the tv to the receiver.

Perhaps there are other options I'm missing. But what are everyone's thoughts on the best solution to my problem?

Why not just unplug the PSP, i mean do you play it everyday? I know you watch sageTV everyday

Seriously, i will get a HDMI Splitter, don't know if they come with the optical splitter as well.

but since HDMI also passes (in most cases) audio you wouldn't need the optical/coax splitter would you? Mine has 3 HDMI inputs. I have the xbox in #2, HD100 in #1, dvd changer to Comp1, and the tv does the switching to its optical out that's piped back to the surround.
