Specify which channels to scan
Is it possible to force SageTV to only scan specific channels when using DVB-T? If so, how?
I'm in a hilltop location and can receive three transmitters, but only interested in one (which has the regional programmes that cover my town). If I can get this to work correctly, MCE is about to go out the window!! Jim |

What's wrong with letting it scan them all? You can always disable the ones you don't want once the scan is finished.
Or am I misunderstanding what you mean by "scan"?

I found that some tweaking was required so that I could include the right transmission sites. For some reason (at least with dvb) Sage won't scan all frequencies, just those defined for the location that you select. There's a fairly detailed discussion on this here. Mick. |
