Bad Zap2it data, Possible for Manual Channel Lineup?, way to disable favorites?

My service provider, TVMax switched their channel lineup. We were notified about it months ago, but it appears Zap2It is very much behind the times and for the last couple of days my sage box has been recording tons of wrong recordings. I've tried contacting Zap2it to no avail, TVMax swears they told them of the change but in the meantime, I got one messed up Sage box.

I was wondering if there was a way I could manually remap the channels or if I had any other options? Scifi launches new episodes tonight which I would like to record and while I can delete all my favorites and do manual records, I would prefer some solution that would actually track the recordings and not make me re-enter every single favorite all over again.

Any help?

As mentioned in this FAQ, SageTV is the one to tell about the EPG issue. They pay for the data; they can tell Zap2it that it isn't correct.

I just finished manually remapping every blasted channel. What a mess. How do I remove channels that no longer exist or the ones that got added which were incorrect? I just disabled them for now.

Opus, sorry. I had searched the forum and come across another post about bad epg data and they had quoted you as saying to check zap2it and if that was incorrect there wasn't much the user could do. Hence why I contacted zap2it and tvmax and didn't think about contacting you guys directly. I just read the FAQ you indicated and sent a copy of my support request to Zap2It to the info email you listed as it contains all the provider information.

Thanks!
