Various channel problems
I am using Verizon FIOS TV service through an R5000 modified receiver.
I live in Westchester county New York but when I was browsing for guide data I had to choose Massapequa Park, NY which is on Long Island since it's the closest to me. Most of the channel seem to be mapped ok except for some. This results in channels which are duplicated (like channel 11 is on channel 11, 13 and 21 for some reason) channels which are not in their right place (like guide showing channel 50 being USA network but when I tune to it I see Bravo- not an actual example though) and some channels missing altogether. Do I have to- and actually am I even able to- go in manually to fix this? It's gonna be time consuming though, what is going on with my channel setup, why isn't it correct? And how could I possibly fix something manually like channel 11 showing up on channel 13 and 21? |
