HD info

Now that is sounds like we will have solutions in HD, where is the best place to find info on HD?
I am currious about things such as ,
which is better LCD, vs Plasma, especially for sports,
Why go 1080P when 720P is much cheaper.
brand info, reliability, etc.
For what is worth, here is my plan,,,, about a 47" for family room, 37" bedroom, seem to be some name brands where I could do this for under $2,500.
I'll still have to add a couplw of Sage HD extenders and 3 Sage HD PVRs, which should total around $1,150

AVS Forum, just stay away from the HD DVD/Blu-ray areas and you should be OK

cnet has some decent info if you're new to all this stuff. Some of the editors blogs are also good for a professional opinion on some of the HD buzzwords like 1080p and 120 Hz and the reviews are decent if not very extensive.
