No codes, but buy from PC Alchemy and save.

Tell her to just trust you, and then whip out your super secret bank card which she doesn't know about to purchase it.

What? Don't have a super secret bank card with which to purchase? Perhaps you should for just such geek emergencies!

Unfortunately pc-alchemy.com has gone out of business.

Any other coupon codes or good deals on SageTV?

Nope. Not that any of us are aware of. PCAlchemy was the only way to get any of it cheaper. It was onlly $5 cheaper though, so it wasn't a drastic amount.

Just tell her that MSRP was $750, but you scored a really good deal because you did such thorough research and found the best price. I have found that most women don't care how much something costs, as long as you can brag that you saved a TON of money.

(my wife once bought a dress for $20 that I knew she would never wear... she said "but it was retail $300! I saved $280!"... I said "you didn't save $280, you wasted $20".... five years later, sure enough, it was donated to Goodwill, never having been worn.... )

Clients: Several HD300s, HD200s, even an old HD100, all on wired LAN. Latest firmware for each.

But think of the tax deduction she supplied for only $20 since it was new and unused.

It was like a formal ball gown. I'm sure lots of people shop at Goodwill for those.

I totally agree with you. That's the way women think. My wife has come to me with that logic before. My reply was same as yours.

BTW, WOW!!! What coupon code did she use? LOL
