no video on some channels with hdhomerun
Sorry if I missed this in the faqs or in searching through the threads, but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm new to both sage and hdhomerun [please be gentle -- my four replaytv's have served me well for years so I've never looked further till my cable company's desire for more digital slots has them starting to delete some favorite analog channels]. I set up the hdhomerun on my cable following the steps outlined at silicon dust, setup just the channels I wanted [about 50], verified viewing of all of them with the hdhomerun editor and vlc, made sure the names matched zap2it, installed sage, and did the mapping in sage. Mostly everything is fine. [and I think sage is quite nice too...] But my problem is this: about 8 of the 50 channels have audio [the correct audio] with a black screen in sage. I can tune those same channels [either tuner] and view them just fine from the hdhomerun editor with vlc. Signal strength is near 100% on all. Overlay vs VMR9 makes no difference. Any leads would be welcome. Thanks! |
