HD Video stutters when using client PC
Hi all,
I just got an HVR 1800 card yesterday. I got it set up just fine, with all the QAM channels and everything... very sweet. The issue I'm having is that with the client software on another machine, when I play the HD QAM channels the video is REALLY slow (jittery) and the audio tends to lose sync. I think I remember that it records in 1080p/i (not sure which), is there a way to limit this to 720p? The server box is connected to a wireless N router via gigabit ethernet and the client machine is a 802.11n client. Thanks for any info! |

I forgot to add that when I watch HD movies (MKV movies) that are at 720p resolution they play just fine on the client machine.

Need some more info:
OS? CPU? Video card? SageTV decoder? SageTV renderer? FSE on or off?
