Fake Tuner card.
Hi,
New to SageTV, actualy trying it out now. I have a Vista 32Bit and installed the trial version. I'm in Quebec and have Videotron Digital Cable along with BEV. I ordered a Hauppauge HVR1800 and waiting to receive it. My question is I read here somewhere about a way to fake SageTV to think that there's a tuner card in my system and a few line of code to put in the Sage.Properties file located in the c:\users\[username]\AppData\SageTV\SageTV.... (dont remember the path exactly...) But I cannot get the SageTV to see this fake card...This thread is dated 2003 so maybe it's a different process now with 6.x Can someone point me to where I can find documentation on faking SageTV to think I have a tuner card and load my providers EPG so I can fully test this application? Thanks again ! |
