Who is in charge here? HDHR, Sage or My New Location.
My previous setup I had DTV going to a pvr-150 and a HDHR getting HD OTA.
In the guide, the locals for DTV matched what you get OTA, ie CBS was channel 2 via tuner or DTV, for the HDHR, even though the digital channel was at say 75, it would still show up in the guide at 2-1 (and 2-2 etc) which was nice. Now, I moved to a different city, have analog cable going into the pvr-150, the cable co's channels are all mixed up, channel 3 is on 7 for instance. And my HDHR shows it as 20-1. If I tune the channel directly on my TV it shows up properly as 3-1. Of note is I upgraded Sage and the HDHR firmware/software after the move. How can I get the HD OTA channels back to showing the "normal" channel numbers? Is the cable guide info causing a disruption? It just sort of stinks because now my HD channels are spread out between 17 and 45 rather than 3 and 10 in the guide.

You should be able to remap the logical channel number to whatever you want it to be. The logical channel number is what determines where a channel is shown in the EPG guide. You should not change the phsical channel number, that is what is passed to the device to tune the channel.

I will give that a try, will I still get proper guide data?
I am curious as to why it happens now and didn't before, I thought I might have broke something.

You should still get proper guide data, it is based upon the station ID.
It happened because what you call "normal" is OTA, which is under FTC control. The cable companies can put the stations in whatever order they want to.

I understand what the cable co's are doing, but why would that affect my HD OTA channels?
