Forums & Other SageTV Website Downtimes

Is Sage having some issues with forums and other web downtime lately? I've noticed problems later in the evenings and especially this morning.

I guess I've just outed myself as a SageTV forums junkie

No, it must be a problem with your internet connection.

...

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Yes, it is well known to us & we're trying to get it resolved (and it isn't just you, in case that wasn't clear by this point due to my above comment).

I noticed it too (both the forums down and how much of a junkie I am). I've had to resort to actually watching some of the programs I've recorded to pass the time

And thanks to Andy as well as the whole Sage IT staff for all of your hard work. I can just imagaine how crazy things must be right now.

A true Hardcore Sage Junkie would watch TV thru Sage while surfing their forums..... At least that's what I do!

you know, I just purchased my first laptop a few months ago and am still trying to uncover all of its potential uses. I wouldn't even have to split the screen and I can surf the forums and watch TV off Sage from my desktop. Thanks for facilitating the addiction. My girlfriend will be quite pleased to know my time will be further divided.

Come on. You're addicted to SageTV and this forum and we're supposed to believe you have a girlfriend?

I usually spend my SageTV forum time in secret in hopes that she doesn't realize how geeky I am, but there's really no hiding it. She knows.

Yeah, I couldn't get on from last night through early today. Seems like folks were posting during the time I got page-not-found errors...so could be locational, DNS, or something. Just more info in case it's helpful.

Addict,
Whenever I have doubts as to whether a site is truly down or whether I'm seeing some other problem on my end I use this:

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

It's a rather crude test, and in regards to your comment, it doesn't tell you where it's testing from geographically, but it's a start. I've tried it with the Sage Forums the last couple of days and every time I can't get to them, this site has confirmed that it is down for them too.
