Menu item will not stay after exiting SageTV

When I add a new menu item "New Internal Screen" and then select an item like "23: GuideByChannel" it will add that menu item to the menu and it works BUT when I exit Sage TV and reopen Sage TV the menu item is gone.

Is there a setting that is preventing new items from staying on the menu that I am missing?

I have tried adding different things and they never stay.

After making a change to the menu, you need to do a save...

• From the main menu, click the right-mouse button (options menu button) & you'll see the menu customization options just like you did when you added a screen, edited a menu item etc.
• From there do a save
