Streamline Default STV playback bar

I've been using the default STV and with the two column mod in the recordings screen, and everything else, I have to say I'm happy with it. The one thing that's a little annoying, is that when commercial skip or I hit play to see where in the show I am, the popup has all kinds of controls on it, such that if you had a mouse, you could control volume, play/pause, fast-forward, etc.

I would prefer to streamline that down to just the progress bar, time, and cut out all the other controls. How would I go about doing this? Has anyone else done this?

There should be a menu item to enable/disable mouse support. Once disabled, it should behave as you want it to.

I thought there was for a client, but I don't see it available on my HD100 extenders.

It may be inheriting the setting from the server's Sage.properties file. You could try setting the show_mouse_icons property to false in the extender's property file.
