Stilling having install/setup issues....
Frey Technologies responded "For the sound just hook up your sound card to your tv." Do I need audio cable as well as S -video? I called hauppague and they told me I need to uninstall WinDVD, then download an updateded wintv driver (v4) from their site, install it, and then reinstall WinDVD. I haven't tried this yet. Does anyone know if the Nvidia GeForce 5200 supports watching TV on the TV while at the same time using the PC as a PC? Frey said, "Yes, you have to set up your video card for dual display." I have no probelm getting dual display, my problem is I don't want to watch TV on the PC monitor. My initial impression is that this is not a user friendly a process as I had hoped. I am close to returning everyting to Frey and going with TiVO. |

You need to have your displays set up as an extended desktop. Then put Sage on the TV and you should be OK, you might need to use VMR as your video renderer instead of Overlay to get that to work.
The other option is to set up the monitors as Cloned and leave Sage windowed and use Video Mirror to have the 5200 display the video in Sage fullscreen on the TV. |

s-video does not carry any sound, so yes, you would need an audio cable in addition to your s-video cable.
