Extender Notification

Is there any way to get the status of an extender? The reason I ask is that I want to turn on my TV when the extender gets turned on and off when the extender is turned off. I have serial control of the TV from the Sage server so I don't want to use any kind of IR directly to the TV.

I think I have figured out a way I can do it. I guess I should study the manual more before I ask questions.

Just in case anybody may want to know what I figured out. The hook ApplicationStarted gets called every time the extender powers up and I will put some code in that hook that will do what I need to do to power up the TV when the extender comes on. I will also use the ApplicationExiting hook to turn off the TV.

Out of curiosity, what model TV is it, and how did you get serial control of it?

The TV is a Zenith Z50PX2 Plasma. I use HouseBot to talk RS-232 to it and I am working on some sort of connection between Sage and HouseBot.
