Pandora, passing search string via browser

Hello all!

I love Pandora. The music selected based on Artist is outstanding.

They provide a means to select a specific artist from the URL:

(Note - single quotes only added here to show complete url string)

for instance. However, when giving the url as a parameter passed to firefox, using nelm's
menu...in SageMC and standard SageTV, the '&search=Phoebe+Snow' isn't passed.

I'd like to simply create a page with artist name, click on the name, and have Pandora start up w/that
particular artist. Unless I can pass the &search info, it won't work.

Help?

Thanks!

For those who have visited, the resolution was to enclose the entire url in double quotes. Using Nelm's menu in SageMC, I now have a menu of my favorite artists...click on one of them and firefox fires us and brings up that artist in Pandora.

Pandora in SageTV?

Is there a way to get ones Pandora account THROUGH SageTV? I use Sage exclusively through the Extenders, but would love to be able to stream my Pandora stream through it!!!!!!!

The main issue I have w/firing Pandora off as I do is that my browser, firefox, comes to the foreground. According to the mozilla forum question I posted, there's no way to start firefox in background mode.

Can Sage be kept in the foreground, thus not showing firefox? Since I'm going to a particular artist via the menu, there's no need for me to even see firefox. At least this way, it would seem to be seamless...

Alternatively you can setup SqueezeCenter 7 (opensource) and enjoy internet radio (SIRIUS, Pandora, lastfm, etc) by installing my SlimPlayer stv plugin (http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=20296) which is available for Default stv and SageMC. Unfortunately this does not work with extenders.
