A tall wish

I wish I could find a script or a tool that could in theory:

1: load a currently inserted dvd up in dvdprofiler and get all info

2: Take that info to create a folder named directly after the dvd

3: fire up dvdshrink

4: set dvdshrink to backup to the aforementioned folder

5: Update and export the collections.xml so I could load the data manually in sagetv

I know its wishful thinking I just like to dream

If you're inclined, try AutoIT to create your own script. I would also try to export the data from DVD Profiler to SageTV's .properties format. In 6.4 beta this is supposedly now working for DVD folders, although I haven't had time to test. You should have a directory for the movie and a directoryname.properties file in the import directory.

I'll try autoit next time I'm near my sage box doesn't it seem like a lot of extra work to have to produce one file for each folder instead of using the blanket config.xml and have sage automatically load that instead
