Auto-tuner for channels

Could someone please tell me why SageTV does not have any autotuner like all other PVR programs I have tried? I am in New Zealand and cannot get some channels to display. Is there an easy fix for this?

Try setting always_autotune=true in the properties file.

Thanks for your reply, always_autotune=true in the properties file is set correctly, the problem is (I believe) that the channel seperations vary between different countries and there is nowhere is SageTV to put in your country so that it can automatically adjust unlike other PVR programs

Try searching for mmc/country_code=0, in the sage.properties file. That looks like it should change your country, but I don't know what to tell you to set it to.

I have finally managed to fix this problem by loading my WinTV channel settings across to the Windows registry, (found this in another posting). If this is what is required to get SageTV to work internationally then I fear that it may not get a lot of customers outside the US! Note: New post for another tuning problem encountered.
