Client not finding Server?
OK Folks I am back with another issue.
I have the server running in the garage. It works fine. I have the client in the living room. I opened the firewall ports as per the manual. Now, when I launch the client it starts searching for servers. Can't find any, yet when I put in the server name or ip it finds the server and everything works great. This is fine except I want to set it up so that if my wife has to reboot the computer thats all that needs to be done. If the client can't find the server on it's own my goose is COOKED! HELP!!!!! |

If your client has more than one network adapter (e.g. both wired and wireless), it could be polling for servers on the wrong interface. To fix this, go to Control Panel > Network Connection, choose Advanced > Advanced Setiings from the menu, and adjust the connection priorities.
If you have just one Sage server that you always want to connect to, you can configure that in Detailed Settings > General > Automatically Connect to Server.
