live tv on remote computer

I want to watch live tv captured from a remote computer over my local network, and have it displayed on a TV instead of the local PC screen.

Is this possible with the current software, perhaps using a PVR 350 both computers?

In other words, capure using PVR350 in 1st computer, send over network to 2nd computer, send to PVR350 with Video out to TV located near 2nd computer?

Rick

Yes you can. You only NEED an encoder in the computer recording the show - the 350 or 250 would be fine.

On the client computer you don't need an encoder at all however you do need some kind of TV out. You could use a 350 for that or you could use a cheaper video card with TV out. Depending on your setup and needs though the 350 does produce better output for standard 480i TV's. If you did use the 350 on the client PC you could also set it up as a network encoder and slave it back to the SageTV server as well.

This will all work with LiveTV as well.
